The Josh Abbott Band is a cornerstone of country music in Texas. Known for electrifying live shows, seven studio albums, and three RIAA gold singles, they’ve earned national acclaim while honoring their independent roots and cementing their place in Texas country history.

Current University of Texas students William Masterson (vocals/guitar) & Kathan Kalavar (guitar/backup vocals) originally met in pre-k in Houston and their lifelong friendship led to creating Down Hazy: a name built on their chill country-driven sound.
Down Hazy released their debut EP “Wasting Time” in July 2026. Based in Austin, their band is rounded out by fellow current Longhorn students and friends: Victoria Eberle, Brady McGee, & Evan Busenlehner.
Taylored Management was founded on the belief that lasting careers are built through vision, relationships, and investing in talent before the rest of the industry catches up. Together, Josh and Taylor Abbott bring more than two decades of experience across artist management, touring, booking, production, marketing, brand partnerships, business strategy, and nonprofit leadership.
For more than 18 years, Josh has built and led the Josh Abbott Band, helping shape one of the most successful independent careers in Texas Country music while developing a reputation for recognizing emerging talent and opportunity. Taylor Abbott brings a complementary background in operations, strategic growth, brand development, and a detail-oriented approach to building and managing both creative and business initiatives.
Together, Josh and Taylor bring real-world industry experience and a hands-on approach to developing artists, building strong teams, creating opportunities, and establishing the foundation for meaningful, long-term careers.
